The King's Speech is an upcoming historical drama movie directed by Tom Hooper based on a script by David Seidler. The film is about how King George VI (the queen of England's father) overcame his stutter. The cast includes Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush, Helena Bonham Carter, Guy Pearce, Derek Jacobi, Timothy Spall, and Michael Gambon.
Here's a first look at Colin Firth as George VI and Helena Bonham-Carter as his forceful wife Elizabeth in the King's Speech movie:

Plot:
"The King's Speech tells the story of the man who became King George VI (Colin Firth), the father of Queen Elizabeth II. After his brother abdicates, George ('Bertie') reluctantly assumes the throne. Plagued by a dreaded stutter and considered unfit to be king, Bertie engages the help of an unorthodox speech therapist named Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush). Through a set of unexpected techniques (including diaphragmatic breathing), and as a result of an unlikely friendship, Bertie is able to find his voice and boldly lead the country into war."
I don't really care about King George VI (the world would be better without all those royal parasites)... Still, I do find the story of the man to be inspiring. Overcoming stutter is no easy feat. And considering the additional pressure due to his position, it's definitely praiseworthy.
Besides the cast of the King's Speech movie is quite talented. So I guess I'll give it a try.
